SYFRDANOL

As part of the highly anticipated IKT Congress 2023, attendees will have an exciting opportunity to visit HAUS and experience SYFRDANOL (meaning "astonishment" in Welsh), an exciting pop-up exhibition, which aims to offer visitors a unique window into the thriving contemporary art practices across North Wales.

The exhibition will showcase a diverse collection of contemporary artworks in various mediums, providing a vivid glimpse into North Wales' flourishing art scene. It pays heartfelt homage to local visual artists, recognising their significant contributions to the region's artistic heritage.

Among the featured artists are Marie Jones, Jen Corr, Manon Awst, Lisa Carter Grist, Gwen Vaughan, Angela Davies, Ella Jones, Catrin Menai, Gethin Wyn Jones and Wendy Leah Dawson. The exhibition is curated by Rebecca Hardy-Griffith.

The showcase will unfold on the ground floor of HAUS (26 Augusta St, Llandudno, LL30 2AE), a place that has witnessed a rich history as a haven for various artistic groups and communities over the years.
