Join IKT Board

We're excited to extend an invitation to prospective candidates for the IKT Board. IKT is seeking to welcome two dedicated individuals to our board to fill the positions vacated by members whose three-year terms concluded in April 2024.

WHY SERVE ON THE IKT BOARD?

Serving on the IKT Board offers more than just a chance to shape a global organisation - it's a way to give back to a community that has supported curators throughout their careers. For many past and current board members, joining the IKT Board is an invaluable opportunity for personal and professional development. It's about being part of a talented team of professional curators who actively shape the strategic direction of the organisation, always seeking ways to better serve the needs of our global curatorial community.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

IKT welcomes applications from individuals representing diverse backgrounds and experiences. We particularly encourage those from historically marginalised communities or underrepresented types of institutions or regions to apply. At IKT, we uphold principles of inclusivity and do not discriminate based on race, colour, religion, gender, gender expression and identity, age, national origin, or disability in any of our activities or operations. We believe that a diverse board enriches our organisation, bringing a variety of perspectives and insights to our decision-making processes and strategic direction.

Your skills will be instrumental in amplifying our reach, fostering meaningful connections, and enhancing engagement with our diverse membership base.

  • Expanding to under-represented regions: we are looking for board members from under-represented regions or who have access to curators in under-represented regions and can help IKT expand its reach globally.
