Travel Arrangements
Delegates are kindly requested to arrange their own international travel to and from the IKT Congress.
Arrival in Doha (Tuesday, April 8, 2025)
Delegates should plan to arrive in Doha via Hamad International Airport (DOH), Qatar’s primary international gateway.
Intercity Transport (Provided by IKT – Included in Registration Fee)
IKT will arrange and cover the cost of group transportation for the following routes:
Doha to Abu Dhabi (Friday, April 11) – Flight (approx. 1 hour).
Abu Dhabi to Dubai (Sunday, April 13) – Bus transfer (approx. 2 hours).
Dubai to Sharjah (Monday, April 14) – Bus transfer (approx. 1.5 hours).
Departure from the UAE (Monday, April 14, 2025)
Delegates may depart from either:
Dubai International Airport (DXB)
Sharjah International Airport (SHJ)
Please book your return flights accordingly.
Visa Requirements
Delegates are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas for both Qatar and the UAE. While many nationalities are eligible for a visa on arrival, delegates should verify their specific entry requirements at the time of registration. If required, Northwestern Qatar / Media Majlis Museum may provide a letter of invitation to support visa applications for Qatar, and New York University Abu Dhabi may provide such a letter for the UAE.

Delegates are welcome to arrange alternative accommodations if preferred; however, we recommend staying near the main event venues for convenience. For reference, please consult the full itinerary for location details.
Important Notice for Travel Grant Applicants:
If you have applied for a travel grant, please do not book accommodation independently. If your application is successful, your details will be forwarded to the designated hotel. We will not be able to refund any accommodation expenses if you book independently.
