Arrival in Doha

6:00pm–8:00pm: Registration and Reception at Northwestern Qatar / Media Majlis Museum

8:30am – 9:30am: Registration and check-in at NQ / mm:museum
9:30am – 10:30am: Light breakfast and guided tour of exhibition NQ / mm:museum
11:00am– 1:00pm: IKT Members Forum at NQ / mm:museum
1:30pm: Buses depart to Fire Station (group to be split in two)
2:00pm – 4:00pm: Guided tour of venues’ exhibition and artists’ studios (light lunch provided)
4:30pm: Buses depart to Richard Serra’s desert installation
5:30pm – 6:30pm: Visit of desert installation
7:00pm: Buses depart to National Museum of Qatar
8:00 – 10:00pm: Tour and Light Dinner at NMoQ
10:30pm: Buses depart to hotels

8:30am: Buses depart the hotels
9:00am – 11:30am: IKT General Assembly (Members only) at Museum of Islamic Art (refreshment provided). The election of the IKT President and Board members will also take place during this session.
11:30am – 12:00pm: Guided tour of Museum of Islamic Art exhibitions
12:30pm: Buses depart to NQ / mm:museum
1:00pm –4:00pm: IKT Doha-part Symposium at NQ / mm:museum, event open to public (light lunch provided)
4:30pm: Tram transfer to Mathaf
5:00pm – 7:30pm: Welcome and preview of Mathaf’s Your Ghosts Are Mine (refreshment provided)
8:00pm : Buses depart to hotels

7:30am: Bus departs hotel for airport, for flight Doha > Abu Dhabi (10:30am departure)

1:00pm : Buses depart airport (lunch boxes provided), city tour on way to hotels (drive past Grand Mosque, Palace, Corniche)
2:00pm: Check in at hotels

3:00–5:00pm: Welcome to Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation, guided tours of exhibition and studios (group to be split in two: Studio visits of emerging artists and Qasr Al Hosn, historic center of Abu Dhabi – both within same block)
5:30pm: Buses depart for Louvre Abu Dhabi
6:00 – 7:00pm: Welcome and visit of Louvre Abu Dhabi collection and exhibitions (Manuel Rabate, Director)
7:30pm: Dinner at TBC hosted at Louvre Abu Dhabi or Mamsha neighborhood, with Introduction to the Guggenheim Project by Stefanie Rosenthal
10:00pm: Buses depart to hotels

9:00am: Buses departs the hotels
9:30am – 11:30am: Welcome at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) Gallery and tour of exhibitions, and of campus arts center and studios
12:00pm – 3:00pm: IKT Abu Dhabi-part Symposium at NYUAD, event open to public (lunch breakout sessions 1–2pm provided)
3:30pm : Buses depart to 3 locations: 421 / MIZA, or Saadiyat Tours, or NYUAD studio visits
4:00pm – 6:30pm: Group visits split into 3: 421/MIZA, or Saadiyat Tours, or NYUAD studio visits to faculty and MFA
7:00pm: Buses depart to Dinner
7:30–9:30pm: Dinner hosted by TBC

Group Arrival in Dubai
10:30am – 12:30am: Welcome at Jameel Art Centre and tour of exhibitions (installed and not yet opened)
12:30pm – 2:00pm: Lunch and performances organised by Jameel Art
2:30pm: Buses depart to SMITA PRABHAKAR private residence
3:30pm –4:30pm: Afternoon tea and tour of collection, introduction to vision of Ishara Art Foundation founder Smita Prabhakar
4:30 buses depart to Alserkal
5:00 Welcome to Alserkal Avenue & Initiatives (Vilma Jurkute, Director)
5:30pm – 7pm: Majlis talks + Self-navigated walking tour of Alserkal Avenue (map provided)
7:00pm – 8:30pm: Preview exhibition at the Concrete, following private reception
9:00 pm: Buses depart to Hotels

8:00am: Buses depart the hotel
8:30pm–10.30am: Welcome breakfast organized by BLR a/o visit to Bayt AlMamzar exhibition and studio space
11:00am: Buses depart for Sharjah
Group Arrival in Sharjah
12:00pm: Arrival in Sharjah and welcome by SAF and Curators’ overview of Sharjah Biennial
1:00pm – 7:00pm: Self-navigated visit of Biennial exhibition main venues for the rest of the day (lunch provided)
Optional 5:00pm: Visit and tour of the Barjeel Art Foundation Collection at Sharjah Museum and / or Maraya Art Center (group to be split in two)
7:30 – 9:00pm: Dinner hosted by TBC and / or free evening
9:30pm: Buses depart to hotels in Sharjah / Dubai
Delegates can stay over for further exploring the Sharjah Biennale and/or attend Art Dubai preview starting 16 April 2025. Other buses depart to Airport for return flight for those returning home.
Delegates can also continue to Jeddah, KSA to visit the stunning Islamic Art Biennale, on until 24 May 2025.
