Ffion Griffiths – Artist
Ffion Griffiths is an artist based in Wrexham, North Wales, known for her focus on abstract and conceptual art in her practice. She has a preferred method of creating art that involves sourcing out materials and building her art around them. By finding the perfect materials that align with her artistic vision and exploration, she is able to generate ideas for her art pieces and ignite her creative energy.
Currently, Ffion finds herself in a phase where she hasn't consciously produced any new artwork due to a lack of significant personal inspiration. However, she remains active in the art community by attending exhibitions and assisting others with small tasks, ensuring that she stays engaged and connected within the artistic realm. Despite not actively creating at the moment, Ffion is keeping herself in a headspace conducive to fostering inspiration and eagerly awaits the moment when her creativity is sparked once again.
IKT delegates will meet Ffion when visiting PERICLO artist studios in Wrexham during IKT Congress 2023.

PERICLO IS A PLATFORM FOR RISK AND EXPERIMENTATION IN CONTEMPORARY VISUAL ARTS.
Periclo presents a programme of exhibitions, talks, screenings and performances. The space also provides research facilities through its reading room, with a particular focus on the relationship between artist and curator.
The exhibition programme and associated events provide artists an opportunity to test new ideas, to take risks and to experiment with content, themes and with display methods.
